Prepare for a colorful harvest! Learn how to plant, grow, and harvest a beautiful, multicolored zinnia cutting garden alongside farm owner and operator herself, Emily G. Round.
About the Workshop:
Emily will explain the best ways to transplant, care for, direct seed, and harvest your Zinnias to ensure an abundant and consistent garden through the growing season. Participants will tour the greenhouse and Emily’s growing field.
Each participant will receive a 4-pack of Zinnias, which will require a 2' x 2' planting area.
Date, Time, & Location:
Weekday classes are from 6:00pm-7:30pm. Max 15 participants allowed per class, each ticket is for 1 person.
About Zinnias:
Zinnias are a popular, prolific flower with many colored varietals, from bright and bold to dreamy and creamy. They make for a beautiful and colorful garden (and bouquets)! Zinnias attract monarchs, hummingbirds, and bees.
Preparing for the Workshop:
This is a hands-on class with demonstrations, so please come dressed to work with plants and soil, and prepared to be in a greenhouse or outdoors. Directions to the farm will be e-mailed to you after purchase. Masks will be required in indoor spaces.
