CSA Terms & Conditions

PAYMENT: I understand that once I purchase and pay for a CSA share my share is secured. I understand that after purchasing a CSA share that full or partial refunds are not available.

START DATE: I understand that the start date of the CSA is flexible to accommodate the uncertainties with the nature of farming. I understand that I will receive an e-mail 1-2 weeks before the start date of the CSA to confirm the first pickup day. I understand that it is my responsibility to make sure that I am receiving e-mail correspondence from emily@groundedflowerfarm.com (see COMMUNICATION below)

PICKING UP: I understand that my share is to be picked up during the time slot and at the location that I signed up for. I understand that bouquets will not be available outside of the time slots, and that the proprietors of the pickup locations are not responsible for holding bouquets for me if I do not pick up my share during the allotted time. I understand that shares not picked up during the allotted time will be donated at the discretion of the pickup location.

I understand that if I am unable to pick up my share due to vacation, illness, or any other circumstances, that it is my responsibility to find another person to collect the share. I understand that I am responsible for informing them of how the CSA pickup works. I understand that there will be no refunds, replications, or share extensions for missed weeks.

SHARING OUR SEASON: I understand that by purchasing a CSA share I will be sharing the abundance and risks of farming. I understand that Grounded Flower Farm takes measures to mitigate risks, but the chance of unfavorable harvests or total crop loss exist. I understand that there may be weekly variation in the sizes of the bouquets.

VASE LIFE: I understand that flowers are a perishable product. Members will receive instructions to maximize their flower vase life at the beginning of the season. I understand that Grounded Flower Farm cannot account for conditions that the flowers are kept in after they leave the pick-up location. If there are issues upon receipt of bouquet, I will contact emily@groundedflowerfarm.com within 12 hours of pick-up (with photos if possible).

COMMUNICATION: I understand that communication about my CSA share will occur via e-mail. I will add emily@groundedflowerfarm.com to my e-mail contacts. I understand that opening these e-mails is my responsibility. If I do not receive any e-mails within a week or two of the projected start date of the CSA share I understand it is my responsibility to contact emily@groundedflowerfarm.com to remedy the issue.
